Western Red Cedar Logs - 13” mid-span diameter (14-16” butts, 11 inch tops) 10 ft. high log walls as indicated on blueprints No-Mark log handling (hoisting of logs using no-mar tongs or nylon straps rather than the typical “Skidding tongs” used by most) All exterior wall logs insulated and Double foam gaskets Log ceiling beams for loft (if your plan has a loft) Log staircase (Mortise & Tennon) C/W handrail, main floor to loft Window and door openings in logs cut C/W keyways and sanded Log handrail across loft (per blueprints) Log Ridgepole and purlins, supported on log posts Ridgepole and purlins grooved for finish material Drilling for electrical in logs (boxes cut out too) Walls flattened for kitchen cabinets Through bolts, settling jacks and lag screws as required All loads fully tarped and “belly wrapped” OPTIONAL ITEMS: We also offer a Window and Door package, designed and manufactured specifically for our logs. Another option is an SIP roof system (Structural Insulated Panels). This is a highly efficient system and when combined with the Window / Door package, your house can be dried in and locked up in just a few days. Freight
